twentyfive
I’m now 25 and 5 days old. Its very much like being 24 and 360 days old; I guess birthdays are always a bit like that. I’ve had quite an exciting few days though. As I previously mentioned my delightful other half took me to a restaurant – the location of which I was unaware of. It ended up being La Trompette in Chiswick, a resturant which has been extremely highly commended by the most reliable of sources and the food was astounding. It really is a wonderful restaurant and I highly recommend it.
The present list currently stands at – A t-shirt, a battery, a magnet, a screw and a small length of wire (from flat mates); a hat, a copy of Vladimir Ashkenazy playing Bach’s 48 preludes and fugues and a copy of Delia Smith’s complete cookery course from Libby; the fees for Aberystwyth music festival and a cheescake tin from my parents; some aftershave from my grandmother; a cookery book from Libby’s parents; and half of Beethoven’s Sonatas, all of Chopin’s Nocturnes and half of Shostakovich’s Preludes and Fugues from me. All in all a damn fine set
