Interestingly Cherie has a new site (I say new, its new to me) here. Her band’s site hasn’t been updated for a while, since the CD was released as far as I can tell, hence the last gig it shows was some time last year 
. Still, its a good CD – worth adding to your collection!

Who is this person Cherie? I thought when I visited her site, she may be someone relevant. If you are going to mention people, a little background info would make your site more enjoyable.

I’m sorry! I keep forgetting that my readers do not have an infinite memory for the postings on my blog. Cherie is a delightfully original Jazz singer whom I stumbled across about a year ago. Her CD is definitely worth a listen although its a terrible shame that it doesn’t feature her bossa nova rendition of Gershwin’s Summertime.
