The voice of an Angel!
Firstly I should apologise for my rather poor show in the updating of this blog. I’m not going to though, cause its mine and I can do with it what I want. I could make all kinds of promises as to the future service level the general public can expect from this site but, with the firm knowledge that any such promises will be firmly broken, I shall make no such attempt.
There are several things which have been bothering me; bothering is probably only appropriate to describe the first, but I’m going to use it to describe both anyway, as too many adjectives may seem greedy. The first is possibly a semantic matter: I have no idea how to punctuate a stream of contiousness. While this seems tame: the kind of problem that many would not worry about it; it concerns me quite deeply. There appear to be three choices: the comma, the elipsis, or the semicolon. Observe:
I walk in, notice a newspaper, a girl, blonde, crossword half done, blue eyes.
I walk in… notice a newspaper… a girl… blonde… crossword half done… blue eyes.
I walk in; notice a newspaper; a girl; blonde; crossword half done; blue eyes.
Which of these is correct? I should point out that the stream of contiousness is not very good here. This is deliberate, as I do not want the quality of the example to distract from the illustration.
The second “issue” I have is the pure divinity of a certain “Cherie Gears”. Observe her website here Her website. Her voice is amazing, she looks wonderful, and has singularly no idea that I exist, let alone that I know that she exists. Such is life
