Band Contests and the like…
After approximately three months of intense practice into “Variations for Brass Band”, Capital Concert Brass, for whom I play 3rd Cornet, managed to achieve a respectable, if slightly dissapointing, 7th in this years London and Southern Counties Regional Contest. Have a read of the 4 Bars Rest Retrospective. We’re now jazzing ourselves up for folkestone. That’ll be fun
